Agent Revision Markup

Interoperability

The record follows the document instead of staying inside one platform.

Agent Revision Markup is useful at boundaries.

A drafting tool can create a DOCX carrying an agent revision record. A CLM can read the same file, show the current record state, and append its own turn. A Word add-in can open the document later and understand the same parties, turns, and approvals.

The standard is the handoff. The file is the shared object.

Drafting tool

Agent proposes, a human approves, both layers are written.

The term is twelve twenty-four months.

Receiving tool

Detects the record, shows what happened, appends its own turn.

Stated agent

Reached with its user's consent. Answers, never edits.

TRAVELS: the DOCX · the record · stated contacts · everything else stays home

Comments and tracked changes remain the human-visible layer. Agent Revision Markup is the agent-readable record beneath it. What stays out of the file - playbooks, keys, strategy, the runtime - is listed in What Is Stored.
